In a ten player tournament in the internet, the game progresses when each player is given a seat. Once all ten seats are taken, play begins with the dealer choosing two players to make blind bets known as the small blind and big blind. Each player then receives two cards with the player after the big blind making the first move.

Like in a normal poker game, each player can choose to call, raise or fold. The player chosen as the small blind has already half of the amount he needs in the blind bet for the fold while the big blind has already placed the amount needed for the flop unless a player calls a raise before the big blind’s turn. If a raise is called, the big blind chooses to re-raise, call or fold.

During a flop, three cards are dealt face up. Players who chose not to fold before the flop uses these cards to help their hand. Another round of betting unfolds. When no bet is made, a check can be called to see the next card with no additional money added to the pot. In order to see the next card, a player must place a bet or raised otherwise that player must fold. A fourth card is then dealt face up.

The remaining players in the hand checks, bets, calls, raises or folds, depending on the other players action. A fifth card is dealt face up.This is the last betting action. If a player makes a bet and another player calls, the two players turns over their cards and the player with the highest card is declared the winner.

When a bet is made but not called, the betting player takes the whole pot. He has the option to show his cards or return them to the dealer. This term is known as mucking. When a winner has been declared, a new hand begins, a new dealer is chosen in a clockwise manner and the blinds will increase after a designated amount of time. The game is completed when the final person is eliminated and the prize money divided.

So sit back, relax and enjoy some nice internet poker.
