| Teamwork is
really a great thing. By being able to incorporate team work in your
work, it can achieve better and more results. It really is true that
two heads are better than one. Even in evil things, two heads are
better than one. That’s why cheaters have decided that by cheating
together they can cheat more and win more money. For the unassuming
player, he just gets teamed up and loses his money.
Cheating with another person in poker is called collusion. Cheating
via collusion could be conspiratorial or done subconsciously. A
common kind of collusion is soft play. This happens when the player
fails to raise or place a bet because of his or her opponent. Another
way of collusion is whipspawing; the partners will then keep on
raising the bet and eventually trap the players in between. Some
partners will also lose deliberately to another person perhaps
to back the other financially. The most offensive way of cheating
is trading information with your partner or signaling.
One example of cheating subconsciously could be well played out
in a situation when playing poker with your friends. Because you
know that the person you are playing with is not really in good
financial shape right now, you feel bad making him lose. So you
try to lose or not win that much against your friend. This would
be unfair to the other players, because you are helping another
player to win.
Some sates to prevent any further damage, have put a law that
prevents husband and wives from playing at the same table. So the
best way for smart people to do is just live-in together, legally
it the couple is still not married.
The biggest advantage in playing together with someone on the
same table is being bale to know what hands they have. They send
signals to each other, like Morse codes and placement of chips
on the card. They then signal to the other which hand is better.
The way to make this work is by doing it repeatedly without even
being noticed by the others. This may sometimes backfire, as other
people who may observe the signaling party may also figure out
his card. It is hard to do signaling on a table where all eyes
are focused on one another.
The concept of team work should be used properly and not abused.
Teamwork is like a concept to help others get greater results for
something morally good. Using teamwork to make others lose like
in poker is not the proper way of using the concept of teamwork.
