Though some poker games start with 2 or 3 cards and then grow to 7
while others involve 5 cards dealt and discarded for new cards, the
basic 5 card hand is the same.
The following hands are ranked from highest to lowest. These are not
including games with wild cards which many believe is not true poker.
Royal Flush.
Is 10 through Ace in the same suit.

Straight Flush.
Is any full 5 card card sequence in the same suit.

Four of a Kind.
Is when you got all four cards of the same index.

Full House.
Is three cards of one index and two cards of another index.

|
Flush.
Is any 5 cards of the same suit.

|
Straight.
Any 5 cards in sequence - not in the same suit.

Three of a Kind.
Three cards of the same index.
|
|
Two Pairs.
Two different pairs.
|
|
A Pair.
Two cards of the same index.
|
|
High Card.
Highest card on the table.
