The great thing about this book is the depth and broadness of it as the author takes the time to go into the history and even the legal issues concerning online poker and then gradually takes you into all the ins and outs of actual play.
The book also does something a lot of other books do and that is cover more than one type of poker game. While some books concentrate on just Texas Hold ‘Em for example, this book goes into Hold ‘Em as well as Stud, Stud Hi-Lo, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo and even a little into a great version of poker called Pineapple.
While others gloss over some basic strategies to winning at poker, Winning Secrets of Online Poker goes much deeper into the possibilities of winning speaking on statistics and practical exercises to increase your skill. These techniques can be applied directly to online poker but is generally good advice or real life poker as well.
So if you are looking for a book that will grow with you as your skill increases this is a good book for beginners to guide them through that very process.
